the road less travelled

what's it like anyway? not being ready, i mean. doing something and not being ready, but knowing full on, from the beginning, that ready does not describe any aspect of the situation? what is being ready like? is anyone ever ready? hot water is ready from the microwave in one minute: 25 seconds - for perfect tea. are people ready like that ? instantaneously discovering readiness, after so long of not being ready. or, on the other hand, never ever being ready. or, again, being ready at some uncertain point in time, but never ever having realized it, going on feeling 'not ready.' which is better? a blind fashion, never knowing, or naively ignoring? or... risking the possibility of not being ready for the chance that readiness has unknowingly been borne?... it is altogether possible that not seeing the readiness equals blinding the ready, and therefore becomes an obstacle to forward movement? ready: adjective-1.completely prepared or in fit condition for immediate action or use: troops ready for battle; Dinner is ready.

a relationship is ready. troops are never ready. dinner is only sometimes ready. relationships have never, ever been ready.
